Call to Know

How little I know You.  How little I long to know.
Let me know you even in my faithlessness,
For from you and through you and to you are all things.
You have chosen to show mercy on me an object of wrath prepared for destructions...

Help me to long for you, to search for you, to thirst for you...
Though I cannot understand the depths...
I want to understand all I am able
As deeply as I am designed to know you.

Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
Jesus, I want to know you.
In my regenerate self, I want to know you.
My flesh wars within.  It wages in deception.

I am a stranger on earth;
Do not hide your commands from me.
This world is not my home.
I am a stranger here.

Romans 11
33Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
      How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34"Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?"
35"Who has ever given to God,
      that God should repay him?"
36For from him and through him and to him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

  2. posted on this verse today on my blog.

is multiple comments on one post by the same person considered spam?

you need to write more posts so that all my comments don't build up so much! ;)

just kidding. if you don't mind, I don't mind.

    :)
